Copyright & DMCA Policy
The Epicure's Journal / 腹地笔记 respects the intellectual property rights of others. We respond to notices of alleged infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).
1. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content on this site infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent. Your notice must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized representative;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
- Identification of the infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to locate it on the Platform (e.g., a URL);
- Your contact information (address, telephone number, and email address);
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

3. Counter-Notification Procedure
If you believe that content you posted was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and the location where it appeared before removal;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- Your name, address, and telephone number;
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the United States, the District of South Carolina), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10 business days, we will restore the removed material.
4. Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA, we will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
5. Good Faith
Please note that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.
